WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota men's basketball team finally returns home to the Saint Mary's Gym on Saturday, hosting Macalester in a 1 p.m. Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game.

In its only home game thus far, Saint Mary's beat Crossroads 83-66 in its season-opener on Nov. 13. … Quashingm Smith-Pugh (St. Paul, Minn.) equaled his career high with 15 points against Gustavus Wednesday. • It's been a season of streaks for Macalester—the Scots opened the year with back-to-back losses, put together a two-game winning streak, and, with Wednesday's 79-59 setback at Hamline, have now lost two straight. … Saturday's game against Saint Mary's is the second of three straight road games for Macalester, which is still searching for its first road win of the year (0-3). … Wednesday's 59-point effort against Hamline marked the second time this season the Scots have been held under 60 points. … On the flip side, Macalester has scored 70 or more points in both of its wins—a 71-53 victory over Crown, and an 87-78 win vs. Martin Luther. … The Scots placed three players in double figures against Hamline Wednesday, led by Kareem Ismail with 16.
