St. Thomas ResultsST. PAUL, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota track and field teams parted ways when they arrived in St. Paul, Minn., Wednesday—with the Cardinal men heading to Concordia-St. Paul to take part in the Golden Bear Invitational, while the Saint Mary's women headed to St. Thomas for the Tommie Twilight.
And in both events, the Cardinals turned in some eye-popping results.

While the Cardinal trio was making its presence felt at Concordia-St. Paul, the Saint Mary's women were busy putting together similar impressive performances across town.
Maya Booker (St. Paul, Minn.) led the way for the Cardinal women, uncorking a first-place toss of 45.66 meters in the hammer throw, while
Laura Schommer (Hutchinson, Minn.) chipped in a second-place effort in 400, stopping the clock in 59.82.

The Cardinals are right back in action on Saturday, heading across town to take part in the Winona State Invitational in their final tune-up before next weekend's Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships.
