NCAA 400 Results

CANTON, N.Y. — Saint Mary's University of Minnesota's Morris Dennis (Elk River, Minn.) was making his first-ever appearance on track and field's biggest stage when he toed the line for his preliminary heat in the 400 at the NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships Friday evening.
 
Unfortunately for the Cardinal freshman, things didn't go quite as he had hoped, as Dennis clocked a time of 50.43 and missed out on qualifying for a spot in Saturday's finals.
