ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota men's and women's swimming and diving teams return to Macalester for the second time this season, taking part in Saturday's Macalester Invitational.

Joe Tonda (St. Paul, Minn.),
Lucas Gerads (St. Cloud, Minn.) and
Zoe Schaetz (Winona, Minn.) got a little rest in over the semester break, because it was all work—and no play—when they took to the pool at the Luther Sprints. Tonda competed in four events—posting three top-10 finishes, while Gerads chipped in a pair of top 10s in his three events, and Schaetz posted the Cardinal women's top finishes in the three events she competed in during the non-team-scored event |

Lucas Gerads (St. Cloud, Minn.) chipped in a pair of top 10s in his three events, to pace the Cardinal men at the Luther Sprints last Saturday. … Tonda and Gerads each posted fifth-place efforts—Tonda's in the 1,000 freestyle (11:10.0) and Gerads in the 50 butterfly (25.16)—while Tonda added a seventh in the 50 breaststroke (30.50), an eighth in 100 backstroke (1:01.44), and a 14
