WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota women's hockey team closes out its two-game Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference series against Hamline on Saturday, as the Cardinals entertain the Pipers in a 2 p.m. contest at the Saint Mary's Ice Arena.

The Cardinals are still searching for their first win at the Saint Mary's Ice Arena this season (0-4-2). … The Cardinals erupted for five goals—their highest single-game offensive output since netting a season-high six goals in a 6-3 win over St. Olaf on Nov. 17. … The Cardinals' six goals in their 6-3 win over St. Olaf on Nov. 17 were not only a season high, but also the highest single-game offensive output since scoring six against both Marian and Hamline during the 2009-2010 season. … Jamie Henderson (Madison, Wis.) recorded her first collegiate hat trick to account for three of the Cardinals' five goals in the Cardinals' 7-5 loss to Hamline Friday. • The Pipers, who snapped their two-game losing streak—and six-game winless streak (0-5-1)—with Wednesday's 3-1 win over Saint Benedict, have not won back-to-back games for just the second time this season. HU put together a season-high three-game winning streak from Nov. 4-12. … Hamline's seven goals against Saint Mary's were a season high. … Darby Dodds scored three times in the Pipers' win over Saint Mary's on Friday, while Bre Simon, Dani Wright, Melanie Bartenstein, and Sadie Baker also found the back of the net. … Simon has now scored in back-to-back games, having also tallied one of HU's three goals in Wednesday's 3-1 win over Saint Benedict. … With her three goals on Friday, Dodds moved into the team lead in goals with 12, one more than Simon. … Baker is the team's assist leader with nine, while Dodds and Simon share the team lead in points with 18. … Dodds owns four of the Pipers' eight game-winning goals—including Friday's game-winning tally vs. Saint Mary's. … Hamline scored a pair of shorthanded goals against Saint Mary's Friday and has now netted five shorties this season. … HU has used four different goalies this season, with Annie Jueregens getting the majority of the work with 11 starts.
