WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota women's basketball team steps out of Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Wednesday, as the Cardinals entertain St. Scholastica in a 7 p.m. nonconference game at the Saint Mary's Gym.

Saint Mary's vs. St. Scholastica—A Year Ago:
• November 26, 2016 * Duluth, Minn.: The Cardinals trailed 10-0 and 12-2 early in the first quarter, were staring at a four-point, 32-28 deficit at the half, and did not take their first lead until Kirsten Keefe (Chatfield, Minn.) drained a pair of free throws with 5:22 remaining in the third quarter.
