DECORAH, Iowa — The Saint Mary's University men's and women's track and field hit the road on Saturday, traveling to Luther to take part in the Luther Alumni Meet.

Becca Dup picked up a pair of first-place finishes at the UW-River Falls Classic, clocking a time of 26.91 in winning the 200, while posting a leap of 5.33 meters to take the long jump. … Maria Missurelli also recorded a first-place performance at last Saturday's UW-RF event, winning the pole vault with a leap of 3.03 meters. … Molly Abraham (400, 1:07.48), Alicia Berkenes (800, 2:33.84), Danielle Franke (3,000, 11:24.64), and Natalie King (weight throw, 14.09 meters) all chipped in second-place performances for the Cardinal women last weekend. … Desmond Steward brought home the lone first for the Cardinal men at the UW-RF Winter Classic, winning the triple jump with a leap of 12.93 meters. … Kyle Lichtenegger notched a second in the 200 (23.57), while David Kemper and Ross Kinderman added seconds in the pole vault (4.25 meters) and long jump (6.08 meters), respectively. … Jovan Newsum led a trio of Cardinals at last Saturday's UW-Stout Warren Bowlus Invitational, breaking the school record in the 3,000 with a time of 8:45.92—nearly three seconds faster than his previous school mark, set a year ago. … Brandon Krogman chipped in a second-place time of 1:23.90 in the 600 at the Warren Bowlus Invitational, and Austin O'Hare added a time of 9:01.45 in the 3,000.
