• The Cardinals kicked off the season with a victory over Macalester in the annual MacMary Dual, held at the Bridges Golf Course in Winona, Minn. The Cardinals have now beaten the Scots in each of the last two MacMary Duals. Saint Mary's snapped an eight-year Scots' winning streak with a victory a year ago. …
Bryce Galewski (Winona, Minn.),
Hunter Rau (Plainview, Minn.), and
Tyler Dove (Hudson, Wis.) fired the top three rounds for the Cardinals at the MacMary Dual last Friday. Galewski carded a three-over 74, while Rau and Dove each finished with 78s. …
Juan Sanchez (Bogota, Colombia) was the Cardinals top individual finisher at the Augsburg Invitational last weekend, shooting rounds of seven-over 79 and six-over 78 for a 157 total. … Galewski, competing as an individual at the Augsburg Invitational, fired a second-round two-over 74.
