LAKE FOREST, Ill. — The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota women's hockey team closes out its two-game nonconference series against Lake Forest on Sunday, as the Cardinals head to Alumni Memorial Arena for Game 2 against the Foresters. Opening faceoff is slated for 2 p.m.

• January 6, 2017 * Winona, Minn.: Saint Mary's took the ice against Lake Forest having not played since knocking off UW-Stevens Point 3-1 on Dec. 10. Lake Forest entered the nonconference matchup also on the heels of a lengthy layoff—the Foresters had not seen action since sweeping Finlandia 10-1 and 9-1 on Dec. 2-3.
