HAM LAKE, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota men's golf team proved to be a model of consistency during the 36-hole Augsburg Invitational.

Just a day after carding an opening-round 313, the Cardinals followed that up with a 315 during Sunday's second round, earning Saint Mary's a tie for 14
th in the 18-team field.

Joe Abdo (Edina, Minn.), who opened the two-day tournament with a one-under-par 71, fired a six-over 78 on Sunday to lead the Cardinals with a 149 total and a tied for 16
th individually.
Juan Sanchez (Bogota, Colombia) posted Saint Mary's top round on Sunday, shooting a five-over 77 for a 36-hole 156.
Bryce Galewski (Winona, Minn.) trimmed a stroke off his opening-round 79, shooting a 78 for a 157 total, followed by
Blair Sanders (Kansas City, Mo. / 84-82—166) and
Jake Emeott (Chisago City, Minn. / 88-87—175.

St. Thomas took home the team title, shooting a 585 (287-298), followed by Bethel (295-294—589), UW-Eau Claire (292-300—592), Nebraska Wesleyan (301-296—597), and Concordia (293-304—597).

Nebraska Wesleyan's Alex Kubik grabbed medalist honors with a five-under 139 (72-67), earning him a one-shot win over St. Thomas' Peder Larson (69-71—140).

The Cardinals are back in action next Friday and Saturday, traveling to Randall Oaks Golf Course in West Dundee, Ill., to take part in the Tim Kopka Memorial Tournament, hosted by Carthage.
