ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota women's basketball team is back on the road for a second straight game on Saturday, as the Cardinals head to St. Thomas' Schoenecker Arena for a 1 p.m. MIAC showdown with the nationally ranked Tommies.

• Saturday's game against St. Thomas is the second of back-to-back road games for the Cardinals, who play their next three contests on their home court at the Saint Mary's Gym. … With their 68-66 win over Concordia on Wednesday, the Cardinals pushed their winning streak to three straight — having beaten Carleton and Macalester last week. … Brandi Blattner (Eyota, Minn.) — coming off a season-high 22-point night against Macalester last Saturday — scored a team-high 16 points against Concordia Wednesday to lead three players in double figures.
