MENOMONIE, Wis. — UW-Stout scored the game's first four goals, and the Saint Mary's University men's hockey team never recovered, as the Blue Devils dealt the Cardinals a 4-1 setback in an exhibition game Saturday evening at Dunn County Arena.

Cam Olstad and Evan Butcher scored less than two minutes apart early in the first period to give the Blue Devils a 2-0 lead, while Logan Nelson pushed the advantage to 3-0 with a goal at 13:45 of the second period.

Riley Jensen made it 4-0 early in th3e third, before
Seth Kamrass (Peachtree Corners, Ga.) got the Cardinals on the board at 9:41.
Tyson Liverance (Burford, Ontario) and
Owen Sikich (Wolfeboro, N.H.) picked up the assists on Kamrass' third-period tally.

Nick Nast (Oxnard, Calif.),
Parker Swanson (Eden Prairie, Minn.) and
Blair Sanders (Kansas City, Mo.) all saw time between the pipes for the Cardinals, with Nast making eight saves, while Swanson stopped six and Sanders finished with 14 saves.

The Cardinals close out the exhibition portion of their schedule on Saturday, returning home to the Saint Mary's Ice Arena for a 7 p.m. matchup against Marian.
