WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota men's tennis team kicked off a busy nonconference Saturday in impressive fashion, as the Cardinals rolled to a 7-2 win over St. Norbert at the Winona Tennis Center.
"This was a great win for the guys," said Saint Mary's coach
Jeff Halberg. "St. Norbert is always a tough challenge and I am really pleased with our performance."
The Cardinals jumped out to a quick 2-1 lead after the three doubles matches — getting wins from
Bobby Tiedemann (Euclid, Minn.)/
Trevor Smiley (Minnetonka, Minn.) at No. 1 and

The four picked up where they left off as all posted straight-set sigles wins, with
