Saint Mary's 2-1 win over Bethel on Jan. 24 was the Cardinals' first road win of the season. … Last weekend's games against Saturday's No. 5 Hamline marked the sixth and seventh time this season the Cardinals have faced a team ranked in the USCHO.com Poll. • The Oles enter this weekend's two-game series against Saint Mary's still searching for their first win of the season. St. Olaf has dropped eight straight and is winless (0-19-2) in its first 21 games this season. Add to that an 0-22-3 record a year ago, and the Oles have not won since closing out the 2017-18 season with a 7-3 win over Saint Mary's on Feb. 17, 2018 — a span of 47 games. … St. Olaf snapped its season-opening 11-game losing streak with a 1-1 tie against Trine on Jan. 3.
