WINONA, Minn. — On Monday, Nov. 1, Saint Mary's University head volleyball coach
Jackie Kiecker stepped down after five years at the helm — preceded by four years as assistant coach — as announced by Saint Mary's Athletic Director
Brian Sisson.
"Jackie's guidance and mentoring has impacted the lives of many volleyball student-athletes throughout her career," Sisson said. "We're grateful for the dedication she has shown to our student-athletes and wish her well."
During her tenure, the volleyball program compiled a 55-64 overall record, including an 18-26 mark in conference play.
"It's been my honor to coach some great athletes, and overall wonderful individuals," said Kiecker. "I'm proud of my time as a Cardinal, and have many great memories that I will carry with me."
Saint Mary's will begin a national search for Kiecker's successor immediately.
"We will be looking to add to our already talented roster of coaches," said Sisson. "We look forward to finding a coach who will move Saint Mary's volleyball forward and assist in the overall development of our student-athletes.
