The Cardinals enter Wednesday's conference matchup against Hamline riding a three-match winning streak, rallying from two sets down to beat Bethel 3-2 in their most recent action last Wednesday. … The Cardinals' last two wins have both been five-set victories — SMU won the fourth and fifth sets to beat St. Catherine 3-2 on March 31. … Linnaea Wallis (Dresser, Wis.)
Linnaea Wallis (Dresser, Wis.) was unstoppable against Bethel last Wednesday, recording 21 kills and 19 digs, while hitting .327. … Wallis' 21-kill, 19-dig effort was her third straight double-double. … Mandy Schmidt (Mitchell, S.D.) — who dished out a career-high 47 assists against St. Catherine on March 31 — posted 43 assists against the Royals last Wednesday. … Coral Anderson (Rogers, Minn.) recorded a career-high 20 kills against St. Catherine on March 31, while Schmidt's 47 assists and 13 digs were both career highs — and led the her first collegiate double-double. … Anderson is the second Cardinal to post a single-match career-high of 10 or more kills this season. The Pipers come into Wednesday's match at Saint Mary's sitting at 3-1 overall, including 2-1 in conference play. HU picked up its third win in four matches last Friday, cruising to a 3-0 victory over Macalester. … The Pipers have now won two straight, having beating Concordia 3-1 last Thursday. … Sydney Larson led the way for the Pipers against Macalester last Friday, recording 12 kills, 15 digs, and six blocks. Megan Rubbelke delivered 28 assists and Maggie Gavic tallied 14 digs. … The Pipers boast six players with 10 or more kills through four matches, led by Lrson with 45 and Rachel Rettmann with 39. Julianna Boyum (27), Brynn Hendrickson (19), Rubbelke (14), and Gabby Robinson (13) are the other Pipers in double figures in kills. … Rubbelke has.
