  SAINT MARY'S CARDINALS SCOUTING REPORT
Wednesday's game at SJU was the final road game of the season for the Cardinals, who are 1-0-1 away from home this season — beating Augsburg 2-1 on April 11 and tying Saint John's 0-0. The Johnnies head into their rematch against Saint Mary's boasting a 2-1-1 record — opening the season with back-to-back wins over Bethel and Concordia, before falling to Gustavus on April 17 and tying Saint Mary's 0-0 on Wednesday. … All four of the Johnnies' games this season have been decided by one goal or less — with three ending in 2-1 decisions. … Wednesday's game against Saint Mary's was the third home game in five contests for the Johnnies this season. … SJU's five goals have come from five different players — Paul Wadsworth, Ryan Erickson, Aidan Becken, Tommy Picka, and Kaidan Popp. … Along with his goal, Wadsworth has assisted on three of SJU's other four tallies and leads the team with five points. … Wadsworth leads the Johnnies with 14 shot attempts and seven shots on goal, one more than Erickson in each category. … Erickson and Picka own SJU's two game-winning goals. … Neither Saint John's nor its opponents have attempted a penalty kick this season. … Jake Swanson has started all four games in goal for the Johnnies, posting an 0.95 goals-against-average and an .852 save percentage. … Swanson — who stopped all four shots he faced in notching the shutout Wednesday against Saint Mary's — has stopped 23 of the 27 shots he's faced — including a season-high 10-save effort against Gustavus on April 17. … Saint John's has scored twice in the first half and three times in the second, while the Johnnies' opponents have netted three of their four goals after the halftime intermission.
