WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University volleyball team had three players — seniors Mandy Schmidt (Mitchell, S.D.), Larkin Clem (Elk River, Minn.), and Elise Amerongen (Lake Elmo, Minn.) — who earned College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-District® honors, it was announced Tuesday.
 
The 2022 Academic All-District® Volleyball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
 
Athletes must carry a 3.50 grade-point-average on a 4.0 scale, have appeared in 50 percent of the team's contests, and made a significant impact on the field of competition to be eligible.
 
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
