BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced its Athlete of the Week award winners for basketball and hockey on Monday. Student-athletes from Carleton, Gustavus, Hamline, Macalester, Saint Benedict, Saint Mary's, and St. Olaf claimed the Conference's weekly honors.
For the first time this season, Kali Olson is the first Saint Mary's women's basketball player to pick up conference player of the week honors!

Kali Olson powered the Cardinals to two wins over Thanksgiving week, delivering double-doubles in both victories. Olson opened the stretch with 14 rebounds and 10 points in a 77-49 win over Grinnell on 11/29, with two blocks and two steals on her stat line. Olson followed that with a 15-point, 14-rebound double-double in a 76-70 win against Simpson on 11/30, adding three steals, two blocks, and an assist in each game, while shooting .500 from the field for the week.
