WINONA, Minn. – The Saint Mary's women's tennis team (7-4) won each contested match to defeat Macalester (2-3), 9-0 in the conference dual Saturday afternoon. The win gives the Cardinals their first conference victory of the season.

Alli Laux and
Elena Ruzevich won their match at No. 1 doubles in a highly competitive showdown of a tie-break.Â

In singles,
Emily Henderson was also victorious in her high scoring super breaker where she won 6-3, 6-1, 13-11 at No. 2 singles.

Rusevich went on to sweep her Scot opponent 6-0, 6-0.

Emily Dondelinger topped her opponent 6-1,6-2;
Christina Jones took the win 6-3, 6-3; and in a close match,
Kathryn Stiegel won 6-3, 6-4.
