WINONA, Minn. - Lindsey Lettner of the Saint Mary's women's basketball team has earned another postseason accolade for her academic excellence. She was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team, as announced on Tuesday.

To be eligible for a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District award, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and fulfill specific athletic eligibility criteria, which differ by sport.

Lettner most recently received a distinguished accolade in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC). She became the first Cardinal since 2015 to earn the MIAC Elite 22 award that recognizes an individual who has excelled at the conference championship level in their sport while also achieving the highest academic standards among their peers.

In other words, she's excelling on all fronts.

The accounting major proudly holds a perfect 4.00 GPA.

On the court, Lettner led the team with 34 three-pointers, contributing to a total of 176 points for the season. As a key guard, she showcased her tenacity with 19 steals and played a vital role in creating scoring opportunities for her teammates, recording 37 assists.

Lettner's efforts were instrumental in helping the Cardinal team finish with a 13-12 record and secure a spot in the MIAC postseason tournament.
