ORLANDO, Florida - The men's tennis team (7-8) wrapped up their spring break play with a 6-1 loss to a tough Rose-Hulman team (4-5) who was in the NCAA Tournament last season on Thursday morning.

The team had the opportunity to play at the USTA National Tennis Center.

The team struggled in their doubles matchups against the Rose-Hulman opponents, conceding the early doubles point.

Tucker Stene, in the No. 5 singles, came up big for the Cardinals recording the only win of the day in an intense tie breaker.

Evan Hoemoeller lost his singles match after battling through extra sets and falling in the tiebreaker.

The Cardinals will enjoy the rest of the day in Florida before traveling home to jump back into conference action picking back up on March 15th hosting Concordia College
