WINONA, Minn. - Who's ready to join the celebration this weekend? On Saturday, April 19th, the Saint Mary's baseball team will host Carleton College for a doubleheader starting at 1:00 p.m. — but the day promises to be about more than just baseball.
Saint Mary's is getting ready to celebrate 100 years of Cardinal baseball!
This memorable day will celebrate the alumni and all who have contributed to the program throughout the years — honoring their impact while continuing to grow and uphold the proud legacy of Saint Mary's baseball.
"What an opportunity to see our community come together," said head baseball coach
Nick Winecke.
The day will be full of celebration! Arrive early to catch the teams batting practice at 11:00 a.m., enjoy mouthwatering eats from the Backwater BBQ food truck, and take a self-guided tour through 'Pudge's Place'—the Saint Mary's clubhouse.
Most importantly, don't miss the incredible games and the special camaraderie of watching generations of Cardinals come together.
We're thrilled to celebrate the rich history of Cardinal baseball and make Saturday an unforgettable day!
