BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - With the conclusion of the 2025 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) baseball season, the conference revealed its annual awards on Tuesday.

Five standout players from the Saint Mary's baseball program earned All-Conference honors following a remarkable season. Senior Stephen Golden, senior Brinton Anderson, senior Riley Bauman, junior Eric Stomberg, and sophomore Connor Tulley were all recognized with MIAC honors.

Golden, a Centerville, Minnesota native, earned his first MIAC honors as the Cardinals catcher. He appeared in 30 games this season, posting an impressive .410 batting average, the fourth best in the conference. Among his season highlights were a career-best four hits and two doubles, along with three RBIs in a game against Hamline, as well as a career-high eight putouts against North Central. A Criminal Justice major, Golden will remain a key presence for the Cardinals as he returns for another season.

He led the team with an OPS of 1.053 and a batting average of .413 percent.

Biology and Pre-Physical Therapy major and first baseman Anderson will also collect his first MIAC postseason honors after being a consistent force throughout the season. The senior from Pulaski, Wisconsin played in every game and led the team with 26 RBIs and ranked fifth in the conference with five sacrifice flies. He also recorded a team-high 134 at-bats, collecting 46 hits over the season.

Bauman earned his third MIAC honor, adding to previous All-Conference and All-Playoff Team selections. The senior from Stratford, Wisconsin, majoring in Biology and Pre-Physical Therapy, ranked third in the conference with 15 stolen bases—just one shy of the league leader. He also recorded a career-high three steals in a single game against Gustavus this season.

He played a key role in center field, recording 124 putouts and 118 catches. Offensively, he ranked third on the team with a .364 batting average.

The Cardinals also had two pitchers named to the All-Conference team this season.

Tulley, a sophomore from St. Charles, Illinois, majoring in Business Intelligence and Analytics, earned his first MIAC honor after leading the team with 45 innings pitched across 13 appearances, securing three wins. He posted an impressive 2.76 ERA, ranking fifth in the conference with 23 strikeouts.

Stomberg, a St. Paul native majoring in Biology and Pre-Med, earns his first MIAC honor for his performance on the mound. He posted a 3.15 ERA, ranking eighth in the conference, and led the team with four wins. Allowing just 36 hits all season, he also ranked second in the conference with 25 strikeouts.

Saint Mary's finished fifth in the MIAC, just missing out on a playoff berth, as only the top four teams advanced. Despite a strong finish to their season, St. Olaf's sweep of Carleton the day before clinched the final postseason spot.

The Cardinals' 22-win campaign marked their best season since 2021, finishing with an overall record of 22-16.
