WINONA, Minn. - On Wednesday afternoon, the Saint Mary's baseball team (19-14) ended their home series against Saint John's (19-13) with a split, taking game one 1-0 but falling 11-1 in the second matchup.
It felt like two entirely different games out there today.
GAME ONE
On the mound,
Tyson Allen-Woodcock l recorded his first career complete game and career shutout, allowing only three hits and striking out four over seven innings.
Stephen Golden showed patience and speed, drawing a walk and stealing a base while scoring the team's only run.

GAME TWO
The Johnnies jumped ahead in the first inning after bringing in two to trail 2-0.
The Johnnies kept adding to their lead over the next three innings and delivered a pivotal seven-run surge in the fourth, pulling ahead by 11, while the Cardinals remained scoreless.
In the seventh inning, the Cardinals managed to break through.
Ryan Csida led off with a single and later scored on an RBI single by none other than Bauman, bringing the score to 11-1.
Despite this effort, the game concluded with Saint John's securing an 11-1 victory over the Saint Mary's to split the series.
The Cardinals face a tough challenge ahead as they gear up to travel to Gustavus Adolphus on Saturday for a doubleheader against the 19th-ranked Gusties, with first pitch set for 1:00 p.m.
