ST. PAUL, Minn. — In the road finale, the women's soccer team (5-11-1, 3-7-0) dropped a 3-0 conference matchup to Macalester (7-9-0, 5-5-0) on Saturday afternoon.
The Cardinals kept it a tight first half, allowing one goal at the 23rd minute mark. The team trailed 1-0 at the half. The Cardinals could only muster two shots in the half.
It was all Scots in the second half.
Hannah Bradley and Lydia Hawkins each had the team's best looks of the game but were unable to convert.
The Scots net two late-game goals to diminish any hopes of a comeback for the Cardinals, officially eliminating them from MIAC Playoff contention.
Looking Ahead
The Cardinals will finish the season at home on Saturday, October 31, for a 1:00 p.m. senior day hosting Bethel.
