Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Oles Pressure Too Much for Cardinals

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – It was another rainy game day for the Saint Mary's women's soccer team (1-4-1, 0-2-0). The Cardinals traveled to St. Olaf (4-0-3, 2-0-0) on Saturday afternoon and couldn't come away with a conference win, falling 7-0. 

The Cardinals battled a tough Oles offense as they kept a clean sheet until the 11th minute of the first half. Once the Oles got rolling, they did not let up.

Saint Mary's struggled to find a rhythm, taking just one shot all afternoon by midfielder Sofia Serafin with ten minutes remaining in the game.

Looking Ahead

Eager to get another win, the Cardinals' next matchup is against nonconference opponent UW-Stout in Menomonee on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 7:00 p.m.
