The past three years have gone by faster than I ever would have imagined. The memories I have made, good and bad, will stick with me forever. I will forever cherish all the friendships I have made on and off the field.
I wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for my parents. Mom and Dad, you have always been my biggest fans … even when you were not there. Thank you for all the support and always believing in me. I appreciate all the hard work you put in to making me the player I am today. All the road trips, early mornings, and late nights really paid off. Lauren and Andrew thank you for sitting through a countless amount of games. Rain or shine you were always there, that really meant a lot to me. Also, thanks to Brett for always being there for me this past year. Whether you were listening to me or not, I couldn’t have done it without you. I love you all!
Freshmen: Jill, Maddy, Balls, Mal, Lou, Sharpe, Kellie, and Z (traveling buddy) … you guys make everyday that much more interesting. It’s been fun getting to know you. Sophomores: Hanna, JJ, Angie, Grobe, and Danielle (you are the best partner ever!)… getting to know all you the past couple years has been a treat. Juniors: Bood, E, Steph, Pulvy, and Cass … I don’t know what I would do without you and I will miss all of you dearly. We’ve been through a lot together being roommates, classmates and teammates. I will never forget the good times. Seniors: Thesing, Fitz, and G … you guys can always make me laugh. I would like to thank all of you for making my years here at Saint Mary’s wonderful. You are all great ball players and I’m thankful to have gotten to play with you.
Miller and Carolyn. It takes a lot of dedication to do what you do. I admire all the work you put into making us all the best ball players we can be. Carolyn, thanks for all the encouragement this year.
Being on the ball field has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I don’t know how to say goodbye to a game I love so much so I’m sure it will return to my life in some way. Although I don’t have to say goodbye quite yet because there’s Italy coming up! Then we will all be saying “Ciao.”
