Thank you, Mom and Dad. Without the two of you, I would not have had the opportunity to attend Saint Mary’s, let alone play college soccer. Thank you for your words of encouragement, the countless homemade dinners, the “go number seven” cheers from the sidelines, and for the hugs that always greeted me after every game. I am so appreciative for all that you two have done for me. I love you both so much.
I also wanted to thank my coaches of these past four years. Thank you Coach Zimmerman, Coach Halberg, Coach Diembec, and Coach Guinn for all of your guidance and dedication to the women’s soccer program.
To the captains, it’s hard to believe we are playing the last game of our final season. Thank you for leading the team with your positive actions and encouraging words.
To my roomies, Amy, Kelsey, and Lauren—I love you girls. Amy, it is truly unfair how amazing you are at both scrabble and at soccer. Keep it up. Kels, you have the best sweatbands; always wear them. Zucs, I love you for making coffee every morning and for bringing Ralph into my life.
To the rest of the team, I am so proud of everyone. I am happy I was able to spend the majority of my last semester here at Saint Mary’s playing soccer with such a talented and extraordinary group of girls. Best of luck next season. I will miss you all.
