Chase Bids Farewell

The last few years at Saint Mary’s have flown by. The friends that I have met at this school will last for a life time. There have been many ups and downs throughout my hockey career at Saint Mary’s, and I am lucky to share them with some of the greatest people. I am going to miss hanging out with the guys on and off the ice.

I would like to thank my family (Randy, Kayla, Devin, Hank, Cooper, Garrett, Amanda) for all the time, effort, and money that have gone into my hockey over the past years. I would like to thank my dad for pushing me to be my best and supporting me along the way. I would like to thank my mom for all of the support throughout my whole hockey career and all the trips that you have made to and from various rinks. The amount of energy and time that you two have devoted to me over the past several years has not gone unnoticed and I cannot thank you enough.

Next, I would like to thank my brothers for being my teammates and opponents. The best memories I had growing up were playing hockey with you guys whether it was ice hockey or roller hockey. Finding someone to play with or play against was never too hard.

I would like to thank my roommates for all the fun times we have shared and the memories that will last forever. Eric Church, you have given me inspiration when the times have been tough.

Finally I want to thank all of the coaches and teammates for supporting me throughout the last few years and believing in me while recovering from injuries. I wish you good luck and success in the future.

To the players, do not take one day of hockey for granted. Enjoy the game while you still have it.
