A Word From Coach Lindquist
Seniors! Really, Seniors? Can’t be. For Anna, Kristin, & Sarah what a fast 4 years it seems to have been, and Bethany, how I wish we had a couple more to keep you at this!
These four ladies will be greatly missed on our team. You are joining a great group of swimmers and divers who have come and gone before you, our Alumni.
You all have contributed so much to our team and we all hope that you have taken as much or more from being a part of it, because you deserve it.
Sarah, very few ladies, in fact divers have completed a four-year stint at SMU. You did it! It is very commendable, and speaks to your level of dedication. Super glad this gymnast found us and became an SMU diver. Congratulations!
Bethany, how glad I am our team ‘peer-pressured’ you into giving this a try. You have been a great example of work ethic, the student-athlete balance and shown everyone that hard work does pay off. A soccer stand-out who added Cardinal swimmer to the list of accomplishments. Congratulations!
Kristin, what a great four years it has been. Your quiet confidence and commitment to the team will be missed almost as much as our couch chats in my office. Such a good teammate to everyone and friend to all ? Congratulations!
Hola Anna. Mira la influencia que ha tenido en mí. Sin embargo, no es que nada comparada a la influencia que ha tenido en el equipo. Siempre pones el equipo antes que usted. A veces demasiado exceso, pero las gracias por ello.
(Hi Anna. Look at the influence you have had on me. However, it is nothing compared to the influence you have had on the team. You always put the team before yourself. Sometimes too excess, but we all thank you for it). You’ve supported everyone that’s ever been a part of this team and we are doing it for you now. Congratulations!
To the four of you, we wish you nothing but the best in the future. We hope you come back often and continue to stay in touch with everyone. There’s always room in a lane (and on the boards) for you guys at your second home, the SMU Pool.
