Pat Jacobsen

Pat Jacobsen is the assistant men's baseball coach at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, a position he has held since the beginning of the 2009-2010 academic school year. In addition to his coaching duties, Jacobsen is also in charge of game support for the men's and women's hockey teams, and also is in charge of athletic field maintenance.

Prior to his arrival at Saint Mary's, Jacobsen was the head baseball coach at Mound Westonka High School in Mound, Minn. In his three seasons at Mount Westonka, he had two players named to the Minnesota All-State team. Along with coaching, Jacobsen was also a baseball instructor at Acceleration Minnesota Sports Training in Plymouth, Minn.

Jacobsen was a four-year starting catcher for Saint Mary's from 2002-2005, and still ranks seventh in the Cardinal record books for highest career fielding percentage (.992).

Jacobsen completed his undergraduate degree from Saint Mary's University in Social Science Education in 2005.
