Trevon Van Egtern is an assistant baseball coach at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, a position he has held since May, 2023
Van Egtern completed a stellar four-year career for the Cardinals, compiling a .309 career batting average (90-for-291) with 15 doubles and five home runs, while scoring 45 times and owning 54 RBIs. Van Egtern enjoyed his best season in 2022, hitting .344, while collecting career-highs in hits (32), runs (19), doubles (8), home runs (4), RBIs (24) and stolen bases (7) en route to being named First-Team All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Van Egtern graduated from Saint Mary’s in 2023 with a degree in Secondary Education, with a Mathematics emphasis.
