Danny Quinn is an assistant men’s basketball coach at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, a position he has held since the start of the 2021-22 season.
Quinn comes to Saint Mary’s after having spent the 2020-21 campaign on the Loras College men’s basketball coaching staff. Prior to his time at Loras, Quinn spent the previous year as a graduate assistant at University of La Verne in La Verne, California.
Quinn, a 2017 graduate of Loras, played four seasons for the Duhawks. He was a team captain his senior year and helped the team win its first Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) championship in 10 years. In that season, he started all 26 games and averaged 8.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists. Quinn also served as vice-president and then president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and earned his bachelor's degree in finance.
