Wockenfus is an assistant coach for the Cardinal men's basketball team, a position he has held since the start of the 2013-14 school year.
Wockenfus was a three-year letterwinner for the Cardinal men's basketball team during his playing days at SMU.
Wockenfus also spent four years as a member of the SMU track and field team, earning All-MIAC honors twice, while also winning the MIAC javelin title during the 2011 season. Wockenfus holds the school's javelin record with a throw of 174-4.
Prior to joining the SMU staff, Wockenfus spent the 2011-2012 season as an assistant coach for the Winona Senior High boys' basketball team.
A 2011 graduate of Saint Mary's University with a degree in Elementary Education, Wockenfus is also full-time admission counselor for SMU.
Wockenfus and his wife, Nicole, reside in Winona.
