Kinne is the assistant men’s hockey coach at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, a position he has held since the start of the 2014-15 academic school year.
Kinne played four seasons at NCAA Division I Bemidji State, where he was a two-time team captain and a three-time WCHA All-Academic. In his four seasons with Bemidji State, Kinne compiled 32 goals and 44 assists, played in two NCAA national tournaments, including reaching the NCAA Frozen Four in 2008-09.
Prior to his time at Bemidji State, Kinne played one season with the Santa Fe Roadrunners of the NAHL, where he recorded 37 points (20 G, 17 A) in 59 games and one season with the Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL, tallying 43 points (17 G, 26 A) in 60 games.
Kinne graduated from Cretin-Derham Hall in 2006. He earned all-state honorable-mention honors, helped lead the Raiders to the Minnesota State High School League state title in his senior season, and closed out his high school career with 55 points points (21 G, 34 A) in 31 games.
