Saint Mary's University of Minnesota Athletics

Greta Hansen, originally from the Milwaukee area, attended the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. For the past two years, she has been teaching first grade, combining her passion for education with the love for working with young learners.

Her background in volleyball spans over a decade as a player at both the school and club levels. Hansen has been coaching athletes ages 12–18 for the past eight years and currently serves as a director at Elevate VBC.

During her time with the club, Hansen's teams have consistently placed in the top 10 at nationals for four consecutive years and have compiled a coaching record of 153-50.

Before joining Saint Mary’s, she coached varsity volleyball at La Crescent–Hokah.

The 2025 season marks Hansen's first with the Cardinals
