Nick Bobb is the head men’s basketball coach at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, having officially taken over the role in May 2025.
He was the programs assistant coach for two seasons, the 2023-24 and 2024-25, before being promoted.
Prior to his arrival at Saint Mary’s, Bobb spent five seasons as an assistant men’s basketball coach at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa.
Bobb, a native of Lake City, Minn., helped lead the 2021-22 Rams to the Midwest Conference Tournament title and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
As a collegiate player at Cornell, Bobb started 90 games for the Rams from 2011-15, and is Cornell’s all-time leader in blocked shots in a season (58) and in a career (163). He was named honorable mention All-Midwest Conference his senior season, averaging 14.3 points and 7.3 rebounds, while shooting 55.2 percent from the field.
Bobb accumulated 992 points over four seasons with the Rams. His 549 rebounds rank seventh on the program’s career list. He was voted the team’s Most Outstanding Player during his final 2014-15 campaign, was selected Team Defensive Player of the Year in 2013-14, and Team Freshman of the Year in 2011-12.
