Gilll picked up three assists to help the Saint Mary's University men's hockey team to a split in its Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference series against defending MIAC champion Bethel last weekend. The senior captain had an assist in Friday's 6-2 loss, then netted a pair of goals in Saturday's 5-3 win — a victory that snapped SMU's three-game losing streak.
