Claffy stopped all seven Bethel shots in recording his first collegiate shutout — in his first collegiate start — last Saturday to lead the SMU men's soccer team to its first Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference win of the season, a 1-0 victory over Bethel at Ochrymowycz Field.
