Tonda continued to enjoy a strong freshman season for the SMU men's swimming and diving team, placing among the top 12 in three events in helping the Cardinals to a fifth-place finish at last Saturday's Hamline Invitational.

Tonda posted a fourth-place finish in the 100 breaststroke, touching the wall in 1:06.07, while adding a seventh in the 100 backstroke (1:00.79) and a 12th in the 50 freestyle (24.20).
