Balsiger proved to be the Cardinal men's soccer team's offensive sparkplug all season — so it was only fitting that the junior close out his 2018 campaign in style.

Balsiger scored his team-leading seven goal of the season in the first half, leading the Cardinals to a season-ending 2-0 victory over Concordia.

Balsiger, whose seven goals were a single-season career high — and equaled Sean Butcher's team-leading seven-goal effort from a year ago, also closed out the year as the team's points leader with 15.
