Wright scored a team-high 21 points and pulled down a career-best 10 rebounds en route to his first collegiate double-double in the SMU men's basketball team's season-opening, 92-66 loss to defending NCAA Division II national champion Winona State.

It was the second straight year Wright has scored 20 or more points vs. the Warriors, as the sophomore netted a team-best 20 points in his first-ever collegiate game a year ago.
