Ziakas was busy between the pipes in the Cardinal women’s hockey team’s nonconference game against fifth-ranked UW-River Falls last Saturday.

Coming off a 27-save effort in Saint Mary’s season-opening 3-2 loss to No. 3 Adrian on Nov. 2, Ziakas kicked out a season-high 36 shots in the Cardinals’ 4-1 loss to the Falcons — including 14 in the first period and 16 more in the second
