Swanson maintained her strangle hold on the top spot in the conference in the javelin at last weekend’s MIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, as the junior defended her title, winning conference crown No. 2 with a throw of 41.10 meters to easily outdistance runner-up Bryana Leverentz of St. Catherine, who was second in 39.73 meters.
