Kubes enjoyed a banner day for the SMU women’s track and field team at the St. Olaf Invitational last Saturday, placing first in the weight throw and third in the shot put.

The junior uncorked a toss of 14.21 meters to win the weight throw, and added a third-place toss of 12.97 meters in the shot put.
