Buysman was a scoring machine for the Cardinal men’s basketball team, averaging 19.0 ppg in SMU men's basketball team's three games last week, including back-to-back season-high 24-point performances in his last two outings against St. Scholastica and Bethel.
 
Buysman finished the week going 24-for-52 (46.1 %) from the field with four 3-points and a 5-for-9 showing from the free throw line. The junior also added 11 rebounds, eight assists, five steals, and two blocks.
