A Year Ago: The Cardinals swept both games of their two-game MIAC series vs. the Cobbers a year ago. SMU erupted for a season-high 14 goals — including the first collegiate hat trick by Morgan Shepherd (Brainerd, Minn.) and two goals each from Matt Staehely (Shorewood, Ill.) and Anthony Bohn (Spring Hill, Fla.) — as the Cardinals routed Concordia 14-3 in the first game.
