vs.

Saint Mary's Cardinals
  0-3-0 MIAC / 1-5-0 Overall
  Concordia Cobbers
  3-0-0 MIAC / 4-1-0 Overall

Last Night:
The Cardinals raced out to a 2-0 first-period lead behind goals by Sheree Haslemore (Gore, New Zealand) and Alex Braun (Darwin, Minn.), but Concordia responded with five unanswered goals — including three in the final 10 minutes of the opening period — in handing SMU a 5-2 setback in Moorhead, Minn., Friday.

A Year Ago: SMU and Concordia split their regular-season conference series a year ago. The Cardinals pelted the Cobber net with 29 shots and scored three goals in the first and third periods combined in the opener. Unfortunately for the Cardinals, those two stellar periods were sandwiched around a not-so-stellar period, in which Concordia outshot SMU 16-7 — and outscored them 3-0 — in handing SMU a 4-3 MIAC loss at the SMU Ice Arena. SMU rebounded in the rematch, scoring single goals in all three periods and getting 36 saves from freshman goalie Brittany Lemke, as the Cardinals won 3-0.

All-Time Series Record: With their 5-2 loss on Friday, SMU moved to 13-4-2 all-time against the Cobbers.
