Last Action: The Cardinals have not played since Dec. 7, when they rallied from a 23-point halftime deficit — scoring 53 second-half points — only to come up three points short in an 80-77 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference setback at Gustavus in St. Peter, Minn. Winona State, meanwhile, held Adams State (Colo.) to 19 points in the first half, then held on for a 60-53 nonconference win at McCown Gymnasium on Dec. 19.

A Year Ago: November 15, 2008: The Warriors proved to be rather ungracious hosts, as then-defending national champion Winona State broke open a 10-point game with a 20-2 run to open the second half en route to a 92-66 victory over SMU at WSU's McCown Gym.
